3C589 - Toshiba T1910

Problem: 3C589.COM dated 9-7-95 won't initialize. Message returns: "CS & SS and HSM error."

Solution: When installing the 3C589C, go to Cardware Software under Windows and set the
adapter properties to DO NOT CONFIGURE. Install the drivers. By default, the 3Com adapter is set as LAN1, which corresponds to a Toshiba adapter.
