3C509 - LANMAN 2.2 - Compaq

Problem: Trying to use the 3C509 in a Compaq Prolinea 575 with a CD ROM returns the following "net start" errors when MS LANMAN v2.22 loads:

Error: Net2182: The workstation has already been started.
Error: Net3546: Error running c:\LANMAN.DOS\NETPROG\WORKSTA.EXE.

Solution: In the AUTOEXEC.BAT, the driver that allocates the drive letter for the CD ROM (i.e. MSCDEX.EXE) loads before the LANMAN drivers, causing problems when it tries to allocate network drives. Load the LANMAN drivers first and the CD ROM driver second.
