Changing network address under NT 3.5

Question: How do I change the network address of the EtherLink III under Windows NT 3.5?

Answer:
1. Create an Emergency Repair Disk, a standard option under NT, before attempting to modify the Registry.
2. Add the "NETWORKADDRESS" string keyword to the Registry and set the address you want.
The Registry path for the adapter card parameters is found under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Elnk31\Parameters
3. Add the value NETWORKADDRESS to this sub-key.
The registry editor can be found in the Windows NT Diagnostics under the Tools menu.
