3C589 - SCO Open 5.0 drivers

Question: Are there 3C589 drivers for the SCO Open server 5.0? I tried the latest 3C589SCO.EXE under Shipping Adapter Files, but it didn't work.

Answer: The 5X9SCO.EXE (LLI Driver) won't work with SCO v5.0. SCO v5.0 does come with the 3C589 (MDI Driver) in the box. We wrote the driver for SCO and SCO supports it only if the controller is Intel or 100% Intel-compatible. Note the driver will only work in Enabler mode (without card services).
