3C509 - loading LANman 2.2 in Compaq

Problem: Using 3C509B in a Compaq Prolinea 575 with a CD ROM, loading MS LANman v2.2 receives the following errors when "net start" for LANman loads:
error: Net2182: The workstation has already been started.
error: Net3546: Error running c:\LANMAN.DOS\NETPROG\WORKSTA.EXE.

Solution: Load the LANman drivers first and the CD ROM driver after the network loads.
