NEC Image P5-90

Problem: NEC Image P5-90 reserves IRQ's 9 and 10 for its system and won't work with a TokenLink III adapter or an EtherLink III adapter.

Solution: The term "reserved" does not always mean the interrupt can't be used by an adapter. For example, in a Gateway PC, Advanced BIOS for ISA IRQ's are 9, 10, and 11. These IRQ settings can be flagged as FREE or USED. Set IRQ 9 to be USED in order to get diags to recognize the card. Set shadow RAM to exclude the RAM range used by the TokenLink card RAM memory.
