3C589 - Thinkpad 750CE lockup

Problem: 3C589.COM causes lockup with or without Card and Socket Services loaded.

Solution: Check the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to see if it is executing the following lines:
CD C:\DEMO
750DEMO

REM out these lines. If 750DEMO is run prior to loading the 3C589 driver, the machine locks up. If the 3C589 driver loads first and connects to the server running 750DEMO, the machine won't lock up but the server connection breaks. Do not load the 3C589 driver if you must first run 750DEMO.
