DEC Pathworks hints

Question: What hints might I find regarding Pathworks 4.1, 5.0 and performance issues with the 3C509?

Answer: [Taken from CompuServe]:

"The /n switch stop the "sch" from sending a sort of answerback message on the network, which is what the Depca cards do to make sure they're alive. You should also put a "/fc:1" on the DNP line in PW4.1 and a "/fc:1 /sdb:10" in cfgxxxxx.tpl on the "DNP" line for PW5. The "FC" is for flow control and "SDB" is for small data blocks.
