Problem: How do I set the transceiver type from BNC to AUI in Windows 95 using the 3C503?

Solution: To set the transceiver type from BNC to AUI in Windows 95 using the 3C503:

1. Select <Start>.
2. Choose <Settings>.
3. Open <Control Panel>.
4. Select the <Network> icon.
5. Highlight the driver "3Com Etherlink II or IITP (8 or 16 bit) (3C503)" on the configuration screen.
6. Choose the <Properties> button.
7. Select the <Advanced> tab.
8. Highlight "Transceiver Location" on the property list.
9. Change the corresponding value list selection to "External".
Click <OK>.
