Answer: To install the 3C589:
1. Install the PC MACLAN connect software specifying the 3C5X9 or 3C509 3COM card
2. Copy the A:\NETWARE\ODI\3C589.COM file from the EtherDisk to the PC MACLAN directory
3. Edit the C:\PMACLAN5\PMDRIVER.BAT and change 3C5X9.COM to 3C589.COM
4. Edit the C:\PMACLAN5\NET.CFG and change Link Driver 3C5X9 to Link Driver 3C589
