3C589 - Nec Versa 6000h PCI to PCMCIA bridge chip along with NT 351

Problem: System could not detect the 3C589C network interface card (NIC) on a NEC Versa 6000H with a PCI to PCMCIA bridge chip set. Unsuccessful efforts were made under Windows NT version 3.51 to add the NIC at I/O 300 and INT 10 as well as I/O 320 and 10.

Solution: Adding the card in Windows NT at I/O 320 and INT 11 was successful.

Note: It may be advisable to update the system BIOS so that future products that attempt to use I/O address 300 will not have this problem.
