EtherLink III and DTK PEM-3332D motherboard

When the EtherLink III (3C509) adapter is installed in a clone 386 computer that uses a DTK-3332D motherboard, the adapter may not show up on the diagnostic program. The disappearance is caused by a logic error on the motherboard, which makes the bus data drivers turn around too quickly. In turn, this causes a glitch in the backplane reset signal that "loses" the adapter on reset.

To solve the problem, simply move the 3C509 adapter to a slot farther away from the processor.
