Network Management - Transcend Network Control Services for Unix
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO DOWNLOAD OR ORDERING CDs Some v3 agent high-availability features including MPLA trunk clustering, STP and VRRP, may become unstable when the respective CoreBuilder and SuperStack II packet switching devices are polled by Enterprise VLAN Manager, Address Tracker, and other applications such as command line interface which access bridge address MIB tables or perform a MIB walk to retrieve bridge table data. If these applications access bridge address tables for devices on an active production network, the SNMP polling or CLI data request could contribute to unexpected events in the high-availability configuration, such as MPLA links down and STP topology changes. It is recommended that these applications not be used during active, busy network periods. For more information, see the Functional Limitations section of the FR003HReadme.htm file below.
