Novell IPX Nearest Server

At the command prompt, enter CO RO NE to display the IPX Nearest Server screen shown in Figure 7-13.

This feature provides a means of directing users to particular network server(s) when their stations transmit GET NEAREST SERVER packets. The way the unit responds depends on the IPX Nearest Server router configuration option. See "Setting Router Options" for more information.

Add

To add further entries, enter ADD at the command prompt to access the Add Nearest Server screen.

In the Server Name field, type the name of the IPX server. Press [CTRL]+[E] to save this entry.

Delete

To delete an entry from the table, highlight the entry and enter DEL.
